Earth

Europe SJWism (Social Justice Warriors) has achieved its goal. Europe has become the ideal of social justice where all possible minorities, including imaginary friends, have rights. SJWists banned genetic and cybernetic upgrades so that no one would destroy the utopia. But this was not enough for them. They derived the term "Europe" from the language. It became intolerant at the end of the 21st century. This was replaced by a neutral "Western Eurasia". The actions of SJWists have led to the fact that Western Eurasia has lagged behind the rest of the world. The European Federation was divided into hundreds of principalities and fell into a two-hundred-year crisis. The situation changed only with the advent of the Japanese administration, which brought Europe together again. Tokyo created here a few large states that survived after decolonization. Some of them can make Europe great again. For the first time in several centuries.

Universal Demaist Federation - is the strongest state of the Earth, the second superpower of the solar system. It was formed as a result of an anti-clerical revolution in the Islamic Arab Federation in the late 24th century. The essence of demaism (from “Deus ex Machina”) is the creation of an ideal society of equal people, to be governed by an impartial AI Arbitrator. The goal of demaism is the creation of Eden in the scale of the Solar System, where committed immortal people will live in a perfect and just society under the Patronage of an Artificial God. His first version ready at the moment. Every citizen of the Alliance of Equals is already connected with Him and can mentally ask Him for help or advice. Today "Yahweh" is only a consultant on economics, politics and sociogenesis, but the government promises that He will become mature enough to give Him power at the beginning of the 26th century.

Federation of Bantu - The most populated state of the Earth. For a long time, the Bantu land was divided between the Great Powers. But after the Great Interplanetary War, the African demaists were able to unite the people and drive out the invaders. Now it is the strongest and most wayward ally of the Demaist Federation.

Kingdom of Australia - the last refuge of the Anglo-Saxon civilization. WASPs from all over the world fled here, fleeing from the offensive of the Latin, Islamic and yellow race. The Queen moved here after the fall of the monarchy in Britain in the late 21st century. The country was in self-isolation in the next two centuries. Kasei Confederation convinced them to get out of isolation in the late 24th century. Australians quickly adopted new technologies and social institutions. Soon they decided to restore the power of the Anglo-Saxon race over humanity. Together with Great Brazil they started the Great Interplanetary War and lost. Now Australia does not have an army. But this is the second economy of the Earth and the closest ally of the Martians in the eastern hemisphere.

Empire of Japan - Demographic collapse and the aging of the population forced Japan to move to a new economic formation. The Japanese government allowed gene modifications, artificial intelligence, and artificial cultivation of humans. This happened in the 2050's. Japan was the first to give up obsolete moral standards and therefore received the maximum benefit from new technologies.It’s economy began to develop rapidly. Political and military power grew too. This became the basis for the creation of the largest empire in the history of mankind. Japan possessed Western and Eastern Eurasia, Africa, Mercury, Mars and hundreds of asteroids. Her fleet reigned in the sky. Many countries have tried to throw the challenge of Tokyo. USA, California, Mexico, Brazil. They all lost. But these times are a thing of the past. Japan lost power after the Great Interplanetary War. The economy was completely destroyed and Tokyo was forced to give independence to the colonies and send the fleet to scrap. Now Japan is in the care of its eldest son. Its name is Confederation of Kasei.

North American Union - is the heir to the once great empire of the solar system. In the 21st century, America was the center of science and the arts, the leader of the space race and proudly possessed half of the Moon and Mars. But reactionary and SJWism have become the cause of degradation. At first, California gained independence, then the southern states separated from the union. After the Mexican Wars (Early 23rd century) in the United States came the era of civil wars and conflicts that lasted more than a century. The extraterrestrial colonies declared independence, the status of the leader was finally lost. Today, this is an ordinary second-rate American state with Anglo-Latin culture, a weak government and a mess on the periphery. It's a puppet of Mars like many others.

California - SJWism did not manage to ban the correction of the genome and cyborgization in California. Therefore, they forbade baseline humans to live in California in order to preserve equality. On the one hand, it separated the state from the rest of the US. On the other hand, transhumanists from all over the Western World came here. Soon it made California the world financial and industrial center. After separation from the US in 2058, California became the richest and most developed country on the planet. The Californians colonized the Moon and asteroids, terraformed Mars. They had an exceptional influence on world politics and could provide their interests anywhere in the world. But in the middle of the 22 century the era of Pax California came to an end. Tokyo gradually took the place of San Francisco. The ex-workshop of the world was finally destroyed by the Mexican occupation and the disengagement of the country. But this is a completely different story.

Brazil - was able to build a really strong economy and army in the mid-24th century. After that, Brazil decided to unleash a war with the whole world in order to occupy a dominant position in the solar system. Thus began the Great Interplanetary War. The joint armies of the UDF, the Kasei Confederation and Japan forced Brazil to surrender. They divided the country into two parts with different ideologies. The boundary between two newly formed representatives is potentially the hottest place in the solar system.

The Pacific Union - Economic and political alliance of the pro-Martian regimes of America, Pacific and East Asia. It is formed from states liberated to Martians from the Australian and Brazilian imperialists. The PU is much more conservative in its views than the alien patron and is not afraid to use the achievements of demaists in the creation of artificial intelligence.

Moon
Moon experienced its golden age in the 21st century when Americans divided the satellite with the Indians. The industrial extraction of helium-3 caused an energetic revolution. This helped the US get out of the crisis and become an world hegemon again. India became the second economy of the world thanks to the lunar colonies. Technology, investment and industry flowed to the Moon. Thousands of cities blossomed on both sides of the satellite.

But nothing lasts forever on the Moon. The new energy revolution began in the second half of the 22nd century. Antihydrogen replaced helium-3. The lunar colonies were no longer useful. They grew poorer and destroyed. Crime grew, riots happened more often. The lunar colonies gained independence in the late 23rd century, but it did not help them. The new states were poor and weak. They quickly became puppets of other great powers. The situation has not changed since then.

Chandramarashtra - is the most powerful lunar state. The biggest extraterrestrial colony of India. It gained its independence in the late 23rd century during the "Mexican wars". The caste system is preserved and fixed genetically. The population is divided into 4 subspecies. Chandramarashtra is trying to become the leader of Moon, but it isn’t strong enough. Therefore it is the puppet of the Kasei now.

Mars
the colonization of Mars took place in three stages:

1) 2030-2070. The first flights of Americans. The first Martian bases. The first experiments with terraforming.

2) 2070-2260. The United States is in decline. California and Japan replace them. Full-scale colonization begins. Terraforming is moving to a new level. Sputtering of comets over the planet, lasers burning poles, atomic bombs are drowning ice etc. The Martian atmosphere has become suitable for humans and animals. The climate of Mars is more like the earth's. Red planet  is gradually becoming a refuge for all posthumans. Transhumanist sects flock here from the entire solar system.

3) 2260-modern day. The Martian colonies declared independence immediately after the base terraforming was completed. Japan and California are winding up their terraforming programs. Martian states continue to transform the planet. They build giant mirrors in orbit, which increase the solar flux by half. They create a "Launch Ring" that surrounds the planet. The current flows through it and creates a magnetic field. It also makes going into space very cheap.

Mars became more comfortable for life than the Earth in the late 24th century. Today it is the most comfortable place to stay in the solar system. Many compare it with Eden. Posthumans make up a large portion of the population. Here live more than a hundred different human species.

Confederation of Kasei grew out of the commonwealth of the Japanese colonies, which declared their independence after the end of terraforming(Second half of the 23rd century). At the moment, the strongest state of the Solar System and the leader of the Sunshine Treaty. 99% of the population - posthumans of different shapes and sizes. About fifty kinds of trans sapiens are in the CK. They are difficult to attribute even to a single biological kingdom. The variety is incredibly large. There are elves, arachnids, ents, angels, octopods, Aryans, titans and so on. Any large city is similar to the center of the interstellar multi-species empire. Almost every species has its own kuo (state) in which its individuals can take any kind of laws, profess any religion or philosophy and generally live as they see fit. The Confederate Center deals only with foreign policy and dispute resolution. Formally, the CK ideology is solarism. Solarism is a synthesis of transhumanism and egalitarian democracy. But the true goal of the Confederacy is to establish total control over the baseline humans so that they stop threatening posthumans with their stupid and unpredictable actions.

New Zion - is a refuge for Jews from all over the solar system. After the fall of Israel in 2276, 3/4 of all Jews moved here. This is the most traditional and conservative state of Mars. The population does not accept cybernetic and gene modifications. Theocratic regime rules in the country.

Republic of Mariner - the largest Anglo-Latin state of the solar system. The former colony of the United States. The first major Martian colonies appeared precisely in the valley of the mariner. RoM could become the leader of Mars in the 24th century. But it lost the US war and now it's a poor puppet state. This is one of the most conservative Martian state.

Mercury - Japan was at the peak of its greatness when it received a mandate for Mercury. There was no one to object. No one wanted to get into trouble because of this red-hot piece of stone. Then no one knew about the underground sterile seas. About the giant deposits of heavy elements. And when it became known it was already too late. The Japanese terraformed the underground seas, carried out artificial lighting, built dozens of cities on the shores, established the extraction of rhodium, californium and americium. But the empire has greatly weakened since then. Inhabitants of the first planet are going to hold a referendum on independence in the next couple of years. Even now they listen more to the Mars than to their ancient homeland. Tokyo will lose its largest colony in the near future.

Asteroid Belt. Belt dweller by Vanga-Vangog 
The first colonies in the Belt were founded by California, Japan and India in the 22nd century. Asteroid settlements were completely dependent on their mother countries, both in political and in economic terms. Their economy was entirely dependent on raw materials. By the middle of the 24th century, more than five dozen colonies in which 100 million people lived were located in the Belt. Generations have grown up that never saw the planets and never knew gravity. It is not surprising that soon they realized themselves as a separate nation and began to demand independence. But Los Angeles and Tokyo held tightly to the snap on the colonies' necks, completely controlling the life support systems and merchant fleet. Riots were suppressed and resistance leaders were publicly executed. Only after the meat grinder of the Great Interplanetary War, which drained the peoples of the Earth, and under the pressure of the Martians and Arabs, the mother countries finally gave independence to the Belt colonies. But their freedom was illusory. The peoples of the Belt remained in economic enslavement despite the acquisition of political independence. Mother countries retained control over most of the bowels, industry and life support systems. Belters did not have their own merchant fleet and communication systems and actually ended up in the position of powerless slaves in their own home. They were saved only by the cold war of the Arabs and Martians, who, trying to drag the Belters to their side, pressed on Japan and Altafornia. But even with these concessions, the asteroid belt remains one of the poorest regions of the solar system. Centuries of life in weightlessness, in the conditions of a constant deficit of calories, water and air forced the Belters to get rid of unnecessary parts of the body. First, they abandoned their legs with the help of genetic modifications. Later it turned out that clumsy human hands are useless when working with the mechanisms of asteroid colonies, and the use of robotic avatars for such works is not cost-effective. The solution to the problem was the refusal of the arms in favor of the mechanical manipulators that were provided for lifetime rent. In the end, this led to the fact that the Belters began to look like giant mechanical insects that made them even more unlike the inhabitants of the planets.
